Resumen

This essay studies the problem, from an analytical and argumentative procedure, of the presence of the cinematographic image in the context of visual culture from the perspective that film can be used pedagogically in the school environment. It argues that in current society, the triatomic relationship which exists between image, cinema and knowledge constitutes a question which must be analysed theoretically, approached with the necessary critical conscience and worked out pedagogically with competence, bearing in mind the realization of the social goals of school education and, specifically, of cinematographic language and its possible links with the epistemic nature of the knowledge outlined.
