Abstract

FRANCISCO, Marcos Vinicius  and  COIMBRA, Renata Maria. BULLYING AND THE RESILIENCE IN ITSELF PROCESSES UNDER THE HISTORICAL-CULTURAL THEORY. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.1, pp.145-163.  Epub Oct 24, 2018. ISSN 1676-2592.  https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v21i1.8651418.

In this research, we analyzed the process of appropriation of cultural objectivations, favoring resilience in itself in young people exposed to bullying. The Historical-Cultural Theory have as reference the epistemological basis the Historical Dialectical Materialism. Six young people from a public school in the São Paulo, Brazil, participated in the study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in order to problematize photographs and filming. The results pointed out that participants had appropriated some human objectifications, such as activities and spaces that include leisure, music, literature and other artistic manifestations. Although such objections had led to the confrontation of school bullying, through resilience in itself, developed in the dialectical relationship between mechanisms mediating risk and protection, such confrontation is punctual, because students continue to focus on the model of social organization that produces this violence.
