Abstract

AUAD, Daniela; SILVA, Janaína Guimarães da Fonseca e  and  ROSENO, Camila. GENDER IN BRAZILIAN BASIC EDUCATION: THE UNCONSTITUTIONALITY OF PROHIBITIVE PROJECTS. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.3, pp.568-586.  Epub Sep 23, 2019. ISSN 1676-2592.  https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v21i3.8654669.

Starting from the concept of genre, by Joan Scott; of Chantal Mouffe's understanding of politics; and Donna Haraway's feminist critique of the production of knowledge, the text analyzes allegedly prohibitive bills on dialogue on gender relations in school. These projects put into dispute models of society, through public policies and educational practices, regarding autonomy and equality of rights.

Keywords : Gender relations; Basic education; Democratic education; Social movements; Right to education.
