In this paper, we present reflections on the project "Educational Practices in the Context of Pedagogy of Alternation", linked to the Higher Degree Courses in Rural Education: Arts and Music, by Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), Campus de Tocantinópolis, developed in a school named Escola Família Agrícola do Bico do Papagaio Padre Josimo (EFABIP), located in Esperantina-TO. This action aimed to provide participants with a training focused on the didactic-pedagogical practices of the Alternation Pedagogy, execution of Pedagogical Instruments of the alternation, Rural Education, sustainability, Art and peasant aesthetics, and Mysticism. The course was divided into two modules and totalled 30 (thirty) hours, and its participants were: 10 (ten) teachers and 04 (four) technicians from EFABIP, 06 (six) UFT students and 04 (four) social actors from the local community. The final evaluation answered by the participants showed that the training provided them with significant contributions related to the improvement of recurrent educational practices in the educational system of alternation, besides the course having been an important space of dialogue between school and university.
