The arguments are presented in interrelated sections on deinstitutionalization related to desimbolization, the effects of these processes on teachers' pedagogical work. Such an argumentative sequence has as a method the systematization of what is read, what is experienced as a researcher on the subject of work and what is being elaborated as considerations. From this experience, there are produced arguments presented in an interrelated way, with the intention of deepening understandings about the pedagogical work, here cut out as the work of the teachers in the school and elaborate questions that will give continuity to the studies, because this is the objective of systematization. Thus, pedagogical work presents itself as a possibility for teachers to find conditions of authorship, belonging and new meanings for the work they produce.
