Abstract

GRANDA, Fernando Henao  and  CARO, María Alejandra Taborda. FROM THE GEOGRAPHICAL LANDSCAPE TO THE CINEMATOGRAPHIC LANDSCAPE AND EDUCATION: “THE WIND JOURNEYS”. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.2, pp.448-466. ISSN 1676-2592.  https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v23i2.8661513.

A reflection on the impact of the relationship between education and cinema is presented through the analysis of the film “The Wind Journeys”. In the first place, the various instrumentalized manifestations of the didactic relation and cinematographic language are pointed out. The main contributions of the relation of cinema as a language in itself are shown, from three possibilities: a record of an era, as a record of feelings such as thinking potential. A third section, with a more analytical content, addresses the problem generated by the lack of connection between Colombian cinema and school, and the possibilities of the geographical landscape as an analytical category for the compression of the film.

Keywords : Education; Cinema; Instrumentalization; Thought; Landscape.
