This article aims to open wide teaching regulation’s technologies in order to potentialize solutions for an understanding (by the subject himself) of the teaching place produced by neoliberal political rationality. It uses as a methodological tool the discussion group, carried out with four Physical Education teachers working in Basic Education and educated by the same institution. This text takes the notion of self-care and technologies of self as conceptual analysis formulated by Michel Foucault. The analyzes indicate the strength of pedagogical discourses of Education and Physical Education in the constitution of teacher subjectivity and responsible for making teachers produce narratives about themselves at working act oriented by neoliberalism. From that debate, this article also takes some steps towards thinking about other ways to produces others narratives about being a teacher.
