Researching aspects of curriculum change in higher education, the Group Teacher Training and Curriculum Paradigms - FORPEC - PUC / SP since 2004 discusses the centrality of the process of teacher education as a construction girder innovative curriculum. The focus of this paper investigates the innovative curriculum in teacher training in the legal education area. The methodology of qualitative approach has the instruments to collect data to document analysis and semi-structured interviews with the coordinators of the course methodology study. As results, we identify the institutionalization of a process of initial and ongoing teacher education in place to empower teachers to bring forward the new curriculum. The project outlined previously, the continued support of a pedagogical coordination, a permanent forum for discussions on the processes of teaching and learning and the preparation of teaching materials with active methodologies constituted this project.
