Resumen

DEMARTINI, Gabriel Ribeiro  y  SILVA, Antonio Fernando Gouvêa da. Articulation between Paulo Freire and Herbert Marcuse: emancipatory sexuality education in a public school of the county of Sorocaba-SP. e-Curriculum [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.1, pp.56-81. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2016v14i1p56-81.

The articulation of Freire's educational concept with the Marcuse's emancipatory sexuality's vision desined to support a liberating curriculum construction to overcome limits observed in the conventional practice of Sexual Education in Science education. To this end, a thematic research was conducted in a public school at Sorocaba-SP for a generator theme able to guide the construction of a curricular programming. It was used document analysis, field observation and semi-structured interviews to collect data. From the community's conceptions characterized as generating theme "Adolescent pregnancy is not a problem here ... no." the link between Freire and Marcuse enabled the glimpse of a schedule with emancipatory perspective, in which teachers and students meet to change their reality dialogicaly in a praxiologicaly consistent relationship with a humanizing education program. The proposal showed potential to overcome the limitations identified in the sexual education curriculum implemented in public schools.
