Resumen

COLASANTO, Cristina Aparecida. Child involvement in the curriculum and own assessment: a action research held in two São Paulo public preschools. e-Curriculum [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.1, pp.332-356. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2016v14i1p332-356.

This article is an excerpt of a PhD research on the development of evaluation reports of two São Paulo public preschools, whose objective was to investigate the record of children's participation in these documents. The child is conceived as a social actor, proposing that their experiences constitute the center of the planning and the proposed curriculum includes child participation. The procedures are discussed more used in evaluation with children, such as observation and written records. The research was conducted following the methodology of action research, the researcher and the participants propose interventions on reality, beyond the description and observation of the field of study. The results show that in the report writing, the child becomes the main subject, thus salvaging his speech, actions, interactions and monitoring of the teaching-learning process, unveiling the curriculum. In evaluation, the interviews with the children indicate what they think about the projects and activities undertaken by them in school, thus providing self-knowledge. It is found that the child's opinion can bring to teaching practice planning activities.
