This article aims to reflecte about the daily use of digital technologies as a favorable context to the integration of e-learning in the formation of the teacher of adult education. This issue forms part of the discussion about the formation of the teacher of adult education and the use of different ways to improve that process. The discussion is the result of the analysis of seven questions apply to first segment of the adult education teachers, using a semi-structured questionnaire. The proposed questions addressed about the use that teachers were of digital technologies in the personal life. The questionnaire was answered by 82 teachers and, through the answers presented, we identified: a) that to study and to make on-line course represented actions taken by teachers over the internet; b) that the Internet was used by teachers to deliberate purposes, the perspective of learning, leisure, communication or services; c) that the use of the Internet is inserted in the personal, social and professional context; d) that the Internet use permeates the construction of networking, the answers to daily needs and the training and professional practice. Given these meanings, the e-learning is as an important possibility in the formation of the teacher of adult education, which may contribute to fill gaps arising from the initial training and promote relevant/necessary studies for pedagogical practice of adult education.
