At the time of the 40th anniversary of the Post-graduate education: curriculum Program, this article presents an overview of its research in the area of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in curriculum areas. The curriculum areas are treated as the knowledge environments created in universities, in public places at regular schools, care for people with physical disabilities programs in developing educational games, teacher-training programs, among others. The research began with the assembly of a database of theses completed between 1975-2014, from the analysis of your keywords, abstracts and titles. The work reveals a wide range of expertise efforts; teams involved; institutions; theories; innovations fields for education from the growth, spread and evolution of ICT in society and in formal education systems, especially. Investigations have focused on the analysis of learning and teaching qualities, the complaints of the use of misconceptions as a panacea that exceed their power and promises related to the mere consumption of news, validations - or not - of public policies, the envisioned potential for your use. The most striking, however, is the number of researchers, its origins from different professional fields, their territories and their interdisciplinary looks. The synoptic tables below allow the reader a talk about the history of the Brazilian educational thinking, their policies and their future expectations.
