This paper reports influences of CEIBAL Plan (Uruguay) on the appropriation of Information and Communication Digital Technologies (ICDT) by the teacher and the process of reconfiguration of their teaching practices. The report covers the period 2007-2011 and presents some experience of two teachers of the Uruguayan public education network, which use the technologies of CEIBAL Plan. From the analysis of the contributions of Uruguayan teachers, are summarized here in a study of instrumental case: the technological infrastructure conditions provided by CEIBAL Plan to a school in Montevideo, the teachers perceptions of the Plan and its training activities, the main cultural impacts experienced by teachers, and developments in pedagogical practices associated with the ICDT. It inferred that the actions of CEIBAL Plan have enabled gradual teaching appropriation of ICDT, progressive reconfiguration of the teaching practices and the first traces of the establishment of a digital culture, which is associated with teachers’ broad-mindedness to the Ceibal Plan technologies.
