This article discusses the training of educators who work in the Youth and Adult Education in female prison. The objective is to reflect, based on a research carried out in female prison, on the training of educators to act as a teacher in prisons schools with young people and adults and their relationship with the curriculum. The guiding questions are: what training is necessary for the development of an education in the female prison? What conceptions of education and curriculum are essential for the training of prison educators, and especially female prisoners? The research was carried out with the following subjects: two elementary school teachers, two pedagogical coordinators and three graduates from the Center for Female Reeducation. In this research were used as methodological procedures: the bibliographical and documentary survey, semi-structured interviews with recorder and in loco observation, with recording in the field diary. Data were systematized and analyzed using content analysis categorization techniques. In the research, as ethical care, the Term of Free and Informed Commitment was presented to all persons interviewed. Among the results, it should be pointed out that education in the female prison, through the characterization of the women served, needs a training teacher that discusses the issues of difference due to gender, ethnicity, class, among others, considering the critical intercultural education one of the ways in the curricular construction of continuing training courses.
