SILVA, Simone Gonçalves da  y  HYPOLITO, Álvaro Moreira. THE CERTIFICATION AND HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL EXAM: IMPLICATIONS FOR CURRICULUM IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION. e-Curriculum [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.2, pp.516-538. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2018v16i2p516-538.

The study problematizes the High School in the Education of Young and Adults, in the state education system of the city of Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It intends to contribute to the understanding of some implications of certification by the National High School Examination (ENEM) in practices in pedagogical and curricular terms. From a set of semistructured interviews with teachers, based on the assumptions of content analysis, it is sought to establish a dialogue with the following categories: student characterization and curricular practice. As a theoretical framework, the analysis refers to the articulation between curriculum studies, educational and evaluative policies with studies on youth and adult education. The analysis of the implementation of the large-scale evaluation and certification policy demonstrates some effects in the construction and dissemination of new meanings about the understanding of what should be taught and how it should be taught as well as in the standardization of learning and knowledge, which Implies changes in the production of curricular practices in youth and adult education.
