The article herein aims to enunciate new pedagogical perspectives that can contribute to the advancement of curricular practices and also to teacher training and performance, both of which having democratic and humanizing education as reference. Through the disclosure of part of the results of a research carried out in the State of Goias (2014-2018), which was the starting point for the development of successful educational actions in public elementary schools, we present for discussion the impacts of such actions perceived by the individuals involved in the process. The results concern, above all, the improvement in content learning by the students as well as the respectful coexistence with their peers. Although they are not conclusive, which is common in science, other studies such as longitudinal, comparative and evaluative monitoring can contribute to the continuity of the dialogue.
