The aim of this study is to map, in Brazilian academic theses and dissertations, methodological strategies used with adolescents who have committed infractions and attend socio-educational programs. In order to achieve the objective, a bibliographic search was carried out, which identified 34 studies, categorized around five axes: approaches / techniques focused on self-knowledge (7); professional education (1); sport and leisure (2); arts and communication (13) and collaborative / interdisciplinary methodologies (11). The surveys indicate limitations and positivities of the methodological strategies used, with great adherence by adolescents when providing dialogue with their own trajectories; appropriation of valued knowledge; problem solving and reality transformation. They highlighted the pointlessness of adolescent confinement and the absence of government policies.
