Abstract

JACQUES, Juliana Sales; MALLMANN, Elena Maria  and  MAZZARDO, Mara Denize. FOR AN EQUITABLE AND EMANCIPATORY EDUCATION: OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES (OER) AS AUTHORSHIP DEVICES AND CURRICULUM DEMOCRATIZATION. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.1, pp.129-152.  Epub May 10, 2021. Open Educational Resources are artifacts for authorship and curricular democratization. The central question is whether OER improve theoretical and practical construction aiming political-pedagogical commitment for the democratization of knowledge, professional development and expansion of diversity in curriculum planning-implementation-evaluation. In the light of the theoretical-methodological postulates of action research, we analyze the teacher education of Basic Education in the public network of Rio Grande do Sul, materialized in the Small Open Online Course “OER: education for the future”. We conclude that the course makes education more flexible because it brings together teachers from various regions, school contexts and areas of knowledge. Therefore, it promote authorship and open sharing of didactic productions so that they can be recontextualized, opening paths for equitable and emancipatory education.
