Abstract

The article aims to identify and analyze contributions from social movements in the field in the materiality of training practices alternating in the training of educators of the Degree in Countryside education LPEC of UNIFESSPA. The investigation is based on critical social theory and was developed through semi-structured interviews with students, trainers and representatives of social movements. The work is organized in three parts: social movements as references in Countryside education and alternation in the initial training of Countryside educators; the territory of the Southeast Region of Pará and actions of the social movements that guide the Course and the profile of the students, and finally, from the subjects' speeches we analyze the contributions of the social movements in alternating practices. The results indicate that social movements contribute to enrich training processes in alternation in the training of Countryside educators.
