Abstract

VIANA, Simone Beatriz Pedrozo; HOSTINS, Regina Célia Linhares  and  BEUNZA, Juan-José. INTERPROFESSIONAL HEALTH UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION IN BRAZIL: A QUALITATIVE REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.2, pp.817-839.  Epub Aug 30, 2021. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2021v19i2p817-839.

The goal of this article is to analyze the literature on Interprofessional Education (IPE) in undergraduate health education in Brazil, taking as reference the theoretical assumptions of Barr, Reeves; D'amour; Peduzzi and Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative and, thus, to monitor its development on the national scene. The research studied the databases of the Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library, Gestión del Conocimiento RHS and PubMed, with a focus on publications from 2016 to 2019. The selected articles were imported into the QSR Nvivo 11 Software for in-depth reading and content analysis. The content of the publications focuses on the history and concept of IPE; in the IPE relationship and comprehensive care; and in curricular experiences in undergraduate health education. IPE initiatives are incipient and lack curricular systematization regarding the model to be used.

Keywords : Interprofessional education; Integrality in health; Education higher.
