Abstract

The current Brazilian scenario of the educational policies has generated evident tensions and insecurities in High School, what have been debated in recent decades with some limitation. The objective of this paper is to analyze the research carried out in the Post-Graduation and its relation with the curricular policies and the teaching of mathematics in High School. The methodology used was bibliographic research with qualitative approach. The theoretical framework was based on Lopes (2004; 2005), Lopes and Macedo (2011), Mainardes et al. (2011). The results showed that the researches are influenced by educational policies. This research also pointed out that the scarcity of productions on Mathematics teaching of needs to be overcome and that Mathematics Education area can contribute with investigations on broader issues for Mathematics teaching enabling studies that also consider curricular policies.
