Abstract

LEVANDOVSKI, Ana Rita; ARAUJO, Roberta Negrão de  and  PASSOS, Marinez Meneghello. COURSE COORDINATORS AND TEACHER KNOWLEDGE: A FEW PERCEPTIONS. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.3, pp.1060-1084.  Epub Dec 17, 2021. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2021v19i3p1060-1084.

This investigation is the result of inquiries regarding the perceptions of coordinators of a Biological Sciences course about the curricular formative process for teaching. Thus, the article brings the analysis of the interviews in which it was sought to identify expressions related to the teaching knowledge in the training of the graduate. The data collection, carried out at a public university in Paraná, counted on the participation of three teachers who, at that time, exercised the function of pedagogical coordinators. The data were analyzed based on Content Analysis. Five emerging categories were identified from the established corpus. Considering that the teaching knowledge is understood by the set of knowledge resulting from academic training and their experiences in daily professional life, the specificity of each course was observed, as well as the particularities and subjectivities of management.

Keywords : Teacher Knowledge; Teacher Learning; Relationship with knowledge; Biological Sciences.
