Abstract

DANIN, Rosely; RANGEL, Luciana Pinto  and  BECKER, Maria Luiza Rheingantz. GRASP OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND AUTONOMY IN PEDAGOGICAL CONTEXTS: A STATE-OF-THE-ART. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.3, pp.1316-1341.  Epub Dec 17, 2021. This paper presents a state-of-the-art study about the outreach and usage of Jean Piaget’s theories on autonomy and the grasp of consciousness in Brazilian academic works related to the field of education. To do that, we have mapped publications found on the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and the database of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel of Brazil (CAPES in Portuguese), as well as the genetic psychology and epistemology magazine Schème - Revista Eletrônica de Psicologia e Epistemologia Genéticas, focusing on scientific papers that have been published over the last ten years (2009-2019). The works that mention Piagetian concepts are mostly from the South and Southeast regions of Brazil. The shortage of papers that use this theoretical framework raises a series of questions about the access to and study of Piaget’s late work and challenges genetic epistemology researchers to expand their outreach.

Keywords : Grasp of consciousness; Autonomy; Jean Piaget; Pedagogical Practices.
