Abstract

ALVES, Rejane de Oliveira; VENAS, Ronaldo Figueiredo  and  SOARES, Leila da Franca. Movements for the re-existence of the Pedagogy curriculum:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.4, pp.1460-1482.  Epub Apr 12, 2022. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2021v19i4p1460-1482.

This article aimed to critically describe the democratic principles that guided the reformulation of the Curriculum Project of the Pedagogy course at the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Bahia (FACED/UFBA), inspired by Resolution no. 2, of July 1, 2015. The text brings arguments in favor of the repeal of Resolution no. 2, of December 20, 2019, in view of its authoritarian and arbitrary nature. This is a qualitative study, anchored in a descriptive-analytical research that involved the entire academic community of the FACED/UFBA around curriculum reformulation. The result of the work culminated with the curricular updating of the Pedagogical Political Project of the Pedagogy course and with the uncompromising defense of a human, sensitive, political, ethical, critical and reflective initial formation.

Keywords : Teacher training; Curriculum reformulation; Teaching degree in Pedagogy.
