Abstract

YAMANOE, Mayara Cristina Pereira  and  SUART JUNIOR, José Bento. Technology conception:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.4, pp.1837-1865.  Epub Apr 12, 2022. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2021v19i4p1837-1865.

The text aims to analyze the conception of Technology presented in the Institutional Pedagogical Project of UTFPR. Once it is the only technological university in Brazil, it is considered necessary to understand the perspectives that support its specificities and guide its curricula, its institutional and pedagogical practices. Based on studies of the CTS field and the understanding of traditional, critical and sociological perspectives on Technology, we sought to identify which of these are relevant in the PPI. To this end, a documentary research was carried out based on content analysis. As result there was found a theoretical hybridity, marked by the coexistence of irreconciable epistemological defenses. The study is initial and intends to further deeper, advancing the analysis of the PPI and correlating it with other institutional documents such as the PDI.
