Abstract

MENEZES, Graziela Ninck Dias  and  RIOS, Jane Adriana Vasconcelos Pacheco. Intercultural educational practices:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2022, vol.20, n.1, pp.394-414.  Epub May 06, 2022. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2022v20i1p394-414.

The article is the result of research that mapped the teaching profession in Technical Professional Education based on educational experiences with diversity. It reflects how the civilizing process built by Indolent Reason (SANTOS, 2011) affects education and highlights how the production of intercultural educational practices (TUBINO, 2016;FLEURI, 2017) it generates cracks in the training process of teachers and reposition them in the profession (NÓVOA, 2017). The work was developed from the application of a survey questionnaire, conversation circles and pedagogical letters with teachers from the Federal Institute of Bahia. The results show that, given the context of diversity as a field of dispute and insurgency of the subjects, the cracks produced in the training processes were announced as recognition of specific training that supports the methodological, curricular and political dimensions that surround the pedagogical field.

Keywords : educational practices; interculturality; diversity; teacher training; technical professional education.
