This article discusses the adjustment established by theParaná Curriculum Framework (2018)between the proposals for teaching History of theCurriculum Guidelines for Basic Education in the State of Paraná (2008) and theCommon Curricular National Base (2018)of the final years of the elementary School. Content analysis (BARDIN, 1977) was based on theoretical contributions from the field of Historical Education and the Theory of History by Jörn Rüsen and hisTheory of Historical Learning (2012). The understanding was that theRC (2018) sought to continue the powerful path that is being built and referenced in History itself by teaching History, in the state of Paraná, against theBNCC (2018), at the national level, with the proposal skills and abilities development.
