This article presents the results of a research that analyzed the writing practices in the use of the computer and the internet in a telecentro of a Quilombola community located in the north of Minas Gerais/Brazil. The objective was to investigate how young people from the quilombola community integrated Digital Technologies of Information and Communication into their daily lives, as they attended the digital inclusion course at the telecentro. An interpretive research perspective was adopted, from an ethnographic approach. The data showed that, although the computer course may contain in its programming a prescribed curriculum for the inclusion of the student in the digital environment, this inclusion may be more related to the way users organize themselves and engage in activities using computers and the internet. in their daily practices linked to particular cultural identities.

Keywords : writing practices; digital communication and information technologies; curriculum; telecentro; quilombola Community.
