The article deals with philosophy in early childhood education from Liberation Ethics. It analyzes ethical experiences with children aged 2-6 years at school. The study refers to the Master's Degree research that aimed to observe teachers’ methodologies in the classroom. It highlights the longings, successes and difficulties of the proposal. Among its possibilities, it points out the critical development presented by children about the care with the ‘Other’. The approach was qualitative-participative. It problematized the reason for teaching ethics, classes, teaching conception, methodology and conceptual conflicts. The dissertation and the article have as theoretical references Paulo Freire and Enrique Dussel. As a result, the study shows that one of the obstacles in teaching ethics to children is due to a lack of theoretical foundation, showing that training in philosophy is necessary.
