Considering that cities have a curriculum, this article aims to analyze gender issues identified in a survey that investigated a group of children in a integral education experience that has the characteristic that its participants leave the school space: the Programa Escola Integrada (Belo Horizonte/MG). Based on the post-critical perspective of curriculum, the article shows how the device of childishness (which, since the beginning of Modernity, has produced childish Subjects) conflicts with issues related to gender, demanding different subject positions for Program participants. Using elements of educational ethnography and Foucault's discourse analysis, the article shows how gender norms and sayings act in this curriculum, in order to define and name performances as feminine and masculine and as adequate or not to the experience in childhood.
