Abstract

BOGATSCHOV, Darlene Novacov; FERREIRA, Gesilaine Mucio  and  MOREIRA, Jani Alves da Silva. BNC-Training:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2022, vol.20, n.3, pp.1335-1359.  Epub Jan 02, 2023. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2022v20i3p1335-1359.

The objective in this text is to analyze the influence of the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the elaboration of the Common National Base for the Initial Training of Basic Education Teachers (BNC-Training) of 2019 in order to reveal the implications for the policies of teacher training in Brazil. It refers to an exploratory research and document analysis. The result exposes the convergence of BNC-Training with the OECD guidelines by imposing a standardization of teacher education based on the development of intellectual and behavioral skills. Such standardization is embedded in the much-vaunted reach of educational quality; however, it aims to sustain the demands of capitalism in its globalized and financial phase, which impedes the reach of education as a transforming social practice.

Keywords : teacher training policies; BNC-Training; OECD.
