This study investigates the (re)construction of the Linguistic Analysis axis in the Common National Curriculum Base of Elementary School, focusing on the lines of discontinuity between the second (BRASIL, 2016) and the fourth (BRASIL, 2017b) versions of this document. This is a qualitative approach research, of documentary type, based on Applied Linguistics and Indiciary Paradigm. The theoretical support is composed of studies about the Practice of Linguistic Analysis in the school context. When comparing the lines of discontinuities, a movement of epistemological and structural scope enlargement is perceived from one version to another. And when analyzing these singularities, it is noticed that each document seems to be a product and part of a process of (re)contextualization of language teaching that, in general, is linked to the contemporary teaching paradigm.
