Abstract

MEIRA, Flávia Paola Félix  and  OLIVEIRA, Julvan Moreira de. Our Anger as Curricula’s Contra-Colonisation Device:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2022, vol.20, n.4, pp.1464-1483.  Epub Jan 30, 2023. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2022v20i4p1464-1483.

This work aims at establishing a talk with the stories, traumas and happy moments that propel the research praxis of black women researchers, as well as appear in their academic works, whose goal were to inquire how the National Curricular Guidelines were carried out in the Ethnic-racial Relations Education and in the Teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture in Pedagogy courses. From a decolonial and postcolonial perspective, we have done a detailed analysis of ten studies. We have identified how racism experienced by those black women researchers as well as how some African markers appear in the women’s pathway, underpinning the longing for understanding how teacher education curriculum is consolidated and how the topics involving ethnic- racial relations pervade the academic setting.

Keywords : contra-colonization; national curricular guidelines; ethnic-racial relations education; curriculum; black women researchers.
