Abstract

LAGE, Micheline Madureira  and  SANTOS, Flávia Nobre dos. Literature at BNCC in High School Stage:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2022, vol.20, n.4, pp.1555-1573.  Epub Jan 30, 2023. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2022v20i4p1555-1573.

This research aimed to reflect on the role of literature in the high school curriculum. Initially, this work was bibliographical in nature. The preliminary version of the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC) was analyzed regarding literature and secondary education. In a second phase, developed in the field, it was tested to what extent the learning objectives listed in the 2nd version of the Base contributed to the formation of a more reflective literary reader. The work was successful and showed that the assumptions contained in the document pointed to a path that led the young person to get in touch with literature. In the third phase, there was a new reading of the Base, now a document in its definitive version. As a result, it was noticed that this path to literature was made more difficult due to the reform of secondary education, as well as the changes made to this document.
