Abstract

RAMOS, Hugo Souza Garcia  and  COELHO, Geide Rosa. Technologies and Curricular Policies in Basic Education: an Archaeological Discourse Analysis. e-Curriculum [online]. 2023, vol.21, e61626.  Epub Nov 13, 2023. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2023v21e61626.

This article aims to describe how a discourse on technologies is constructed in the curriculum policies of basic education, mapping the different conceptions of technology that are present. As a theoretical assumption, the contemporary perspective of Philosophy of Technology is addressed, based on the categorization presented by the philosopher Andrew Feenberg. In the research, Discourse Analysis (DA) was used as a research method and the procedures were guided by the epistemological basis of Foucault's theory of discourse. Regarding the results, a linear sequence of conceptions was not identified over the decades in curriculum policies. It is concluded, in fact, that there is a hybrid discourse regarding conceptions, that is, a hybridization of distinct theoretical trends.

Keywords : curriculum; policies; technologies.
