The period of social distancing caused by the Covid-19 pandemic triggered educational shortages that were widely announced due to the lack of organic development of the media and technology subject in education. This study aims at reporting and identifying how a collective of school Physical Education teachers from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, addressed the media and technology subject. It also aims at understanding how such elements have reverberated during the emergency remote teaching. This case study uses a qualitative approach and the content analysis and thematic analysis methods to analyze curricular documents related to Physical Education and interviews with six teachers. The results point out the gradual approximation of teachers with the subject, which can be deepened from indicators experienced in the pandemic.
