Abstract

TSUZUKI, Felipe; PASSOS, Marinez Meneghello  and  MAISTRO, Virgínia Iara de Andrade. With the curricular change in the Licentiate Degree in Biological Sciences course at a public university, the Pedagogical Practices: Sexuality and Health discipline was added, becoming the first contact of students with the contents relevant to teaching, in addition to the theme of sexuality, which for first time it was institutionalized in the curriculum. Thus, the question was: what signs of the personal-professional identity of undergraduate students in Biological Sciences does a discipline of education for sexuality mobilize? To answer this question, an evaluation of the discipline was produced, which was answered by 28 undergraduates who took it in 2015, this evaluation aimed at recording the evidence of the personal-professional identity of this teacher in training for further analysis. The answers were submitted to Discursive Textual Analysis that enabled the identification of three emerging categories: Formations of self; Perceptions of sexuality education; Instruments for sexual education.

Keywords : pedagogical practices; sexuality and health; initial teacher training in biological sciences; personal-professional identity.
