Abstract

MARTINELLI, Núbia Rosa Baquini da Silva  and  RITTER, Jaqueline. Experimental method and scientific procedures as content in elementary education: a possible curriculum construction. e-Curriculum [online]. 2023, vol.21, e56100.  Epub Aug 15, 2023. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2023v21e56100.

An extract from an action-research developed in Science classes in Elementary School is presented, in which the teacher becomes a researcher of her own practice, carrying out curriculum production, which surpasses instructional teaching, considering the motivations of students in relation to mediations teachers as possibilities to learn and teach. For the analysis, an analytical device adequate to the Bakhtinian theory of discursive interactions is used. The mediating language, structuring thought, materializes in the students' conceptual constructions, organized in the form of Enunciation Themes that are the results of the teaching and learning movements undertaken and analyzed. The themes are: Systematization of procedures and experimental error and; Hypothesis formulation, Inference and Representativeness.

Keywords : curriculum production; conceptual meaning; mediation; language; scientific concepts.
