This is the communication of research results on didactic materials of History used in public, state and municipal schools, in the cities of the Regional Teaching Directorate of São Joaquim da Barra/SP between the years 2017-2019. The object was to compare the contents of History present in the different didactic materials, the handouts of the Teaching Handout Systems and the Textbooks distributed by the National Textbook Program used in Final Elementary Education (6th - 9th years) in schools covered by the survey. As a counterpoint to analyze the SAE, we used the same pedagogical didactic criteria set out in the evaluation of History textbooks in the 2017 edition of the PNLD. For that, a bibliographical and documentary research was carried out, in which comparison was used as the main logical-methodological operation.
