The objective of the research was to investigate the curriculum of three undergraduate courses in Pedagogy of public higher education institutions in the State of Paraná on the insertion in the curriculum of the discipline of Art, starting from the principle that it can take courses without offering Art in the formation of the pedagogue. The guiding question was based on how the curricular menus of public higher education institutions in Paraná are included in the curriculum of the Pedagogy of Art course? Qualitative research was adopted, with documentary study of the curricula of 3 Pedagogy courses. The selection of courses to compose this research took place by updating the curricula between 2017 and 2018. It is a study with an epistemological basis in Critical Theory, considering that Art finds space in a specific discipline in the Pedagogy curriculum, with tenuous knowledge, sometimes leading to training in polyvalence in Art.
