Abstract

MEDEIROS, Marinalva Veras  and  ABREU, Waldir Ferreira de. The Centrality of the Training of Early Childhood Education Teachers: what do the BNCC and the BNC-FP express?. e-Curriculum [online]. 2024, vol.22, e65561.  Epub Sep 23, 2024. This article aims to present a theoretical-reflective discussion about the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC (2017) and the National Common Base for Teacher Training - BNC-FP (2019), highlighting especially the configurations that these two Bases bring to the training of early childhood education teachers. Fitting into the theoretical-methodological framework of qualitative and bibliographical research. It is based on theorists such as Albino e Silva (2019), Teles (2018), Freire, (2015), Giroux (1997), Manacorda (2010), among others. The study allowed us to understand that teacher training, with emphasis on the training of early childhood education teachers, in addition to being historically constructed before and during the teacher's professional career, is also influenced by national legislation and multilateral organizations.

Keywords : school curriculum; teacher training; child education; omnilateral training.
