In this study, the dimensions of the creative and reflective praxis in the elaboration of a Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) based on Freire’s perspective were analyzed. For this, a training course for educators was held, involving the local community and the municipality’s school, with a focus on obtaining Generating Themes. The information, obtained through video recordings of meetings with residents and educators, were analyzed using Discursive Textual Analysis, based on the categories: a) Reflective praxis in the process of understanding the demands of community Iguape; b) The creative praxis in the collective work of building the PPP at School Escola Padre Giuseppe Bonomi. It is noteworthy that the reflective and creative praxis are inseparable in a humanizing PPP, as they are related to the development of the subjects’ consciousness and to the dialectics of the collective work between schools and community in overcoming local demands.
