Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the conditions for integrating digital technologies into the curriculum of public schools of the Association of Municipalities of Western Santa Catarina (AMOSC), Brazil. The problem is stated as follows: How are the conditions for integrating digital technologies into the curriculum of public schools in Western Santa Catarina characterized? In the methodological procedures, it was adopted the bibliographic research and the qualitative approach based on Almeida and Valente (2011), Di Felice (2020), Kenski (2007), Lévy (1999), Schlemmer et al. (2021) and Scherer and Brito (2020). The results of three studies and an ongoing investigation indicated conditions of precariousness and (dis)integration between curriculum and digital technologies in public schools. It is concluded that there is a need to implement education policies for the initial and continuing training of teachers to work in public schools in Western Santa Catarina.
