This article is the result of a research that aimed: (i) to identify impressions of the organization and development of an on-line course, through the collection of indicators on the continuing education process; (ii) to analyze the contributions through the reports of the participating teachers in an on-line course about the possibility of Edgar Morin’s seven knowledges subsidize the beginning of the embracement of the complex thinking in pedagogical practice. Qualitative research, of the case study type, involved the on-line continuing education of 28 Portuguese and Brazilian teachers. As a methodological support, the Netnography was used and exclusively a digital repositor on the web as the locus of data production. The results indicate that teacher acquire theoretical and practical knowledge throughout their careers, through studies, pedagogical practice and exchanges with their peers. It is concluded that the epistemological change in the embracement of complex thinking requires continuing education processes in-person or on-line.
