Resumen

LORENA, João Paulo de  y  PARAISO, Marlucy Alves. Babelian pedagogy to make the curriculum speak other languages. e-Curriculum [online]. 2025, vol.23, e68623.  Epub 11-Ago-2025. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2025v23e68623.

This article, cartographic in nature, traces the movements of teachers and education professionals who, in their encounters with childhoods in gender and sexuality dissidence, create and enact a Babelian pedagogy, an approach essential to opening the curriculum to experimentation with other languages. The argument developed is that such a pedagogy, which operates through strategies such as self-deconstruction, openness to the new, and the stretching of language, is generated and set into motion when dissident childhoods enter the school space. It is a pedagogy that, by practicing a new language, makes the curriculum stutter and experiment with different codes and ways of reasoning. The theoretical framework draws on concepts from the philosophies of difference, queer studies, and post-critical curriculum theory.

Palabras clave : babelian pedagogy; curriculum; dissident childhoods; gender; queer theory.
