The Post graduate Program in Education: Curriculum at PUC-SP, locus of the e-Curriculum Journal, has historically developed collective efforts in the development of high-level professionals and researchers, and to the dissemination of academic production. Bearing that in mind, this article addresses this contribution, with an emphasis on Paulo Freire, a theoretical inspiration for the production and diffusion of critical knowledge. The highlights include the program´s participatory management process, particularly since the 1980s, with the creation of the Paulo Freire Chair, for inter-institutional research, which produced the Freirean network of researchers and the e-Curriculum Journal, a disseminator of national and international academic production.
