Abstract

Continuing education of teachers, systemic evaluations, the work with language in Childhood Education and literature were themes of six researches carried out at the Municipal Network of Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The researches were developed in the period of 2011-2016 and, in each one, the Project Alfaletrar was analyzed under different perspectives. The objective of this paper is to present and discuss those six academic papers that approached the Alfaletrar Project as an object of knowledge or that have made it a field of research for the development of research. The analysis of the researches revealed that it is possible to develop similar projects in other cities, provided the local specificities are safeguarded, the continuity of the educational process is ensured and the commitment of managers and teachers.
