In this paper, results of a literature review of scientific productions on ethnic-racial relations in the context of Basic Education published on the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) platform are presented. With a qualitative emphasis, it was sought to understand the approaches to the theme in 26 articles selected for the analysis. It was observed that there was a predominance of productions aimed at affirmative policies and teacher training with greater production between 2017 and 2018. Through the Content Analysis, the elements contained in the abstracts that allowed the following categories to be configured: ascension, absences, deconstructions, sources of subversion, formation and perspectives. Reflection on these categories provides important contributions to initial teacher training.
