The aim of this article was to analyze the relevance of ethics teaching in research, expressed in the curricular programs of scientific investigation, and the observance of ethical principles in teaching degree monographs from three Higher Education Institutions in Angola. When starting from the comparison between the regulations on curricular harmonization and the programs, there is a misalignment and, in the programs, the absence of guidance regarding the ethics teaching. In identifying ethical principles, generally, they are limited to the objective of the research, who will carry it out, the confidentiality and the anonymity, principles stated and verified in some monographs and in others just stated without being observed, which allows to signal the need for a deep reflection on teaching and the importance of ethics in the investigation process and the creation of a code of ethics that regulates all research activity.
