The concepts of tradition and technoscience are used to locate the profesions and the technical specializations focused by professional and technical education and to explore its epistemological determinants. With this purpose in mind, the diverse origins of this training and the conceptual and empirical subjects which determine it and which reflect in many ways the subjacent culture are studied, the same as the pedagogical and didactical focuses emphasized by the community when it comes to train its members. Fundamental diverging differences are focused on, regarding the means of production of knowledge of the various sectors, regarding the epistemological actions that can be associated, and regarding the relations among persons and that knowledge.
